Helping Our Maui Friends

So many of us know people impacted by the devastating fire in Lahaina and our hearts are breaking for their losses. A long-time Manhattan Beach family, The Rushers, have generational ties to that particular area and along with their friends and family, lost more than many of us can imagine.

The Rushers are working with victims to coordinate donations and are collecting and transporting physical donations, as well as assisting a non-profit that has been established.
 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE IN GREATEST NEED

  • Diapers and wipes

  • Formula and bottles 

  • Women’s hygiene products 

  • New underwear and socks for all

  • Baby clothes 6-24 months (new or gently used)

  • Baby/children’s shoes sizes 1-6

  • Summer clothes for children men and women, aall sizes. (new or gently used) 

  • Board shorts, tees and tanks are great. 

  • Sandals and sneakers all sizes 

  • Hats and visors 

  • Backpacks and bags 

  • Hairbrushes, hair ties, tweezers, scissors and nail clippers 

  • Face lotions, shampoo and conditioner 

  • Reef friendly sunscreen 

  • Toothpaste and mouthwash 

  • Non perishable food 

  • Dog and cat treats

  • Towels 

  • Gift cards to Target, Whole Foods and Longs Drugs
