where to park

The City of Manhattan Beach runs 12 parking lots.  These lot locations can be viewed using the online Public Parking Lots Interactive Tour. Beyond lots, there are over 300 City street meters in the Downtown Manhattan Beach business district. There are multiple dedicated handicap spaces and EV charging stations in the Downtown area. Lot M, Lot 3, and the Civic Center Lot lower level all have EV charging stations. After you park, enjoy the over 75 retail shops in Downtown. Parking Rates:

  • Beach Parking Lots- $2.50/hour

  • City Parking Lots- $2.00/hour

  • Street Parking- $2.00/hour

Lot Information:

  • Lot 1 has 45 meters with a 2 hour limit

  • Lot 2 has 66 meters with a 2 hour limit, ADA parking available

  • Lot 4 has 64 metes with a 2 hour time limit

  • Lot 5, the Civic Center South Lot, has 10 meters with a 2 hour time limit

  • Lot 6 has 23 meters with a 2 hour time limit, ADA parking available

  • Lot 7 has 17 meters with a 10 hour time limit, ADA parking available

  • Lot 8 has free parking with a 10 hour time limit, ADA parking available

  • Lot 9, the Metlox Underground Structure, has 450 meters with time limits of 24 minute, 2 and 10 hours (EV charging), ADA parking available

  • Lot 10, the Lower Pier Lot, has 68 meters with a 5 hour time limit, ADA parking available

  • Lot 11, the Upper pier Lots, has 50 meters with a 5 hour time limit, (open 24 hours) ADA parking available

  • Lot 14, Civic Center Upper, has free parking with a 2 hour time limit, ADA parking available

  • Lot 15, Civic Center Lower, has 96 meters with a 2 hour time limit (EV charging stations)

Parking enforcement hours are from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the exception of the beach parking lots at the Manhattan Beach Pier, which are enforced 24-hours a day.
