HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE – November 15, 2023

The Department of Alcohol Beverage Control considers the Holiday Open House a “GROUP” event and will not grant any individual permits for the night. All permit requests will be gathered by the DBPA (Jill Lamkin), and submitted to MBPD as a group, after payment is received. Once approved by MBPD, then the Department of ABC evaluates.

 

Deadline to submit is WEDNESDAY, October 4th.  ALL FORMS ARE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. DO NOT submit paperwork directly to MBPD!

 

BEFORE APPLYING, KNOW THE RULES:

These directions apply to ALL businesses (regardless of type or location in DTMB), other than restaurants with a valid ABC permit. NO catering permits are valid for the night of Holiday Open House. All businesses who serve alcohol for Holiday Open House must apply through the Group Permit. Failure to comply will result in being shut down for the event and can result in a citation from MBPD and restrictions placed on serving alcohol at future events.

ABC Permits are to serve beer, wine or champagne ONLY; no hard alcohol may be served.

Review the required fees and rules. NO applications will be considered unless ALL forms, fees, (including HOH fee), + Landlord Letter have been received electronically.

ONLY 24 APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED, FIRST COME FIRST SERVEd.

The COMPLETE ABC application packet is due no later than 10/04/23. No exceptions. NO REFUNDS.

 

FEES

  • $125 fee for the ABC Permit, wristbands, extra security detail and associated costs

  • $100 Participant Contribution for Holiday Open House entertainment, and the entire November/December Marketing + Advertising campaigns.

(ALL BUSINESSES ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE $100 HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE contribution, in addition to paying for $125 for AN ABC PERMIT)

TOTAL (HOH + ABC) = $225 - PAYMENTS PROCESSED ONLINE WITH FORMS

LANDLORD AUTHORIZATION

You must provide a signed letter from your Landlord authorizing your business to serve wine/beer during HOH on November 15, 2023 from 6-9pm ONLY. No hard alcohol allowed!  Signed Landlord Authorization Letters can be attached to the ABC Permit Application Form Below.
